The Role
We’re searching for a Backend Engineer who will play a critical role in building and maintaining the backbone of our trading platform. You will collaborate with talented frontend engineers, blockchain developers, and product owners to deliver seamless features, drive scalability, and ensure security at every layer of our system.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize robust API endpoints and microservices for our fintech platform
- Architect and maintain scalable, secure data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL databases)
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance and reliability
- Implement backend business logic that integrates with trading, authentication, payment, and reporting modules
- Collaborate on security, privacy, and compliance initiatives throughout our infrastructure
- Review code, mentor teammates, and uphold best practices across the engineering team
- Participate in daily standups, agile planning, and feature discussions
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years professional experience as a backend engineer (Node.js, Python, Go, or similar)
- Deep knowledge of RESTful API development and integration
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security best practices
- Analytical problem-solving mindset and a passion for learning and improvement
- Bonus: Fintech, trading, or high-frequency systems experience
